Highs on Wednesday will be in the 90s, with heat index pushing into the upper 90s.
There's a chance for storms Wednesday afternoon and evening in the west. If storms develop, they could produce severe wind and may have some hail.
Wednesday night, we look mostly dry with a slight chance for spotty showers.
Thursday will be even hotter, and close to record highs. Heat indices will be in the triple digits.
A stationary boundary will be stalled across northern Oklahoma Thursday afternoon. Near this boundary a few isolated severe storms are possible. Trackers will be on it.
The heat stays with us Friday, and we could even get close to some record highs. Northwest Oklahoma could get lucky with a few isolated showers and storms in the afternoon and evening.
Saturday will be a scorcher! The cold front moves in Sunday. Behind it, a true fall feel!
