Severe Storm Warnings Active In SW Oklahoma

Thunderstorm warnings, flood watches, and tornado warnings were issued Friday.

Current watches and warnings:

1. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Jefferson and Stephens County until 3:15 p.m.
2. A flood watch has been issued for Garfield, Kingfisher, Canadian, and Grady County until 9:00 p.m. Friday.
3. Flash Flood Warning for Comanche and Tillman County until 5:45 p.m. Friday.
4. Tornado Watch for Carter, Comanche, Jefferson, Love, Stephens, and Tillman County until 9:00 p.m.

After a soggy morning, rain and storms will continue to develop as our final wave moves through this afternoon and evening.

This evening, the last round will move through from the west to the east. Tonight, rain will move into eastern Oklahoma.

Bad timing for the metro as this impact the evening rush hours along with Friday night football games.

Temperatures drop into the 50s and 60s for highs in northwestern and central Oklahoma, with a breezy wind from the northwest.
