It will feel like summer this week, getting hotter as we get closer to the weekend. In fact, we will be closer to record highs than average.
Fire danger is also increasing as winds ramp up.
What will the weather be like on Tuesday?
Temperatures stay mild overnight, with lows only falling into the mid and upper 60s.
We heat back up into the upper 80s and 90s during the afternoon.
Today there will be a few storms in the panhandle, and they will move into western OK tonight.
There's a very slight chance of a stray shower in OKC tonight through tomorrow morning.
What will the weather be like this week?
Tomorrow afternoon additional storms take off out west. These will pose a low severe risk.
The primary concern will be damaging winds and intense lightning. The highest chance of rain tomorrow will be in our western counties.
Mid-week highs will be mainly in the mid and upper 90s.
By the end of the week, we get closer to 100s. Our temps will be close to record highs for this time of year.
