1 Dead After Garfield Co. Crash

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Garfield County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says.

OHP said 65-year-old Orland Wasson was driving northeast of Enid when he crashed his vehicle.

Troopers said the cause of the crash was excessive speed on uneven terrain, as Wasson was traveling on a gravel road.

Wasson was also not wearing a seatbelt, OHP said.
