Oklahoma City Fire Department Investigates NW OKC Condo Complex Fire

There was a reported fire at Barrington Condominiums in northwest Oklahoma city Wednesday, according to authorities.

Authorities say the fire was located near north May Avenue and northwest 112th Street.

District Chief Scott Douglas, public information officer with the Oklahoma City Fire Department told News 9 that one building in the complex, with four units was the main building impacted.

Douglas also said that no people were hurt— but two pets, a dog and a cat, died. 

Douglas praised firefighters for working quickly since the buildings are close together, they were concerned heavily about it spreading.

OCFD says cause of origin still under investigation.
