Father Of Country Star Zach Bryan Walks From Claremore To Copan To Raise Money For Nonprofits

An Oklahoma veteran and father of country music star Zach Bryan, is walking from Claremore to Copan to raise money for two Bartlesville nonprofits.

This is the third year that Dewayne Bryan will be making this walk. It starts on Thursday, Nov. 9, in Claremore and finishes on Veterans Day in Copan.

Proceeds will go to Hopestone Cancer Support Center and Paths to Independence in Bartlesville.

Bryan started this walk in 2021 to support a teacher in Texas who had cancer. Last year, Bryan expanded the fundraising to support Hopestone. This year, Bryan is also using these funds raised to support Paths to Independence of Bartlesville.

PIT provides educational and support services to children and adults with autism spectrum disorders.

There will be a festival in downtown Copan to celebrate the end of the walk and all of the fundraising efforts.
