Local Music Festival, Barbecue Benefits Volunteer Fire Department

The Highway 62 Barbecue Competition and Music Festival has come back for it's third year. All proceeds to toward the Nicoma Park Volunteer Firefighters Association.

Captain John Linley and Kristi Brewer-Campbell joined News 9 to talk about the event.

"You get a plate for $20, it goes towards the fire department, and you get to go around. We have about 16 teams that are going to be letting you taste their food," Linley said. "You get to choose which one's the best."

The Highway 62 Barbecue Competition and Music Festival is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 20. They will have live music, raffles, and activities.
