Okla. State Bureau Of Investigation Visits The Porch To Promote Upcoming Career Fair

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is holding a career fair right here in Oklahoma City Wednesday, May 29.

Joining News 9 on the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch with a sneak peek into their line of forensics, fingerprinting and more, Zach Stults and Bill Hedrick. 

“We're gonna have a lot of different people from, all over the OSBI, from all the different divisions,” Hedrick said. “They'll have all kinds of stuff out there for you to look at. [They’ll] talk to you about some of the opportunities that we're gonna have available pretty soon.”

Hedrick enjoys his work, and is hoping the career fair will help other people find work with meaning.

“I really like what I do. I'm a crime scene agent. I like that I get to go out to the field a lot. My job is not an office job at all; all of my work is outside of the office,” Hedrick said. “I get to get out and do things and actually make a difference in the community and really help people.”

There are opportunities with OSBI that aren’t currently listed on their website, but will soon be available.
