Metro Semi-Truck Rollovers, Almost 40,000 Without Power

Authorities responded to several semi-trucks rollovers Tuesday night.

One was near Northbound Broadway Extension and Hefner Road. Authorities say the vehicle was blocking the roadway, and drivers should avoid the area.

Authorities also responded to another overturned semi-truck in Moore on Interstate 35 near Northeast 5th Street.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that traffic was being diverted to the right shoulder, but has since been opened.

High winds and slick roads are causing drivers to lose control. Over 100,000 people in Oklahoma City have lost power due to the storms.
