18-Year-Old Drowns In Grand Lake

An 18-year-old man from Oklahoma City was recovered from Grand Lake after drowning on Friday, authorities say.

The Grand River Dam Authority said police recovered his body in the Locust Cove area.

They said he was swimming with a group of friends when he jumped off the roof of a dock into the water and never came back up.

Once police got to the scene, they found his body around 7:45 p.m.

His name has not been released.
