Bishop McGuiness Student Drowns At Grand Lake

An Oklahoma City family is mourning the loss of their 18-year-old son after he drowned at Grand Lake over the Fourth of July weekend.

Police say crews found the body of Zach Tawwater in the Locust Cove area on Friday.

Authorities say he was swimming with friends when he jumped off the roof of the dock and did not come back up.

Friends say Tawwater was a student and athlete at Bishop McGuinness High School in OKC.

A post from Next Level Basketball says the group is devastated by the loss.
