1 Killed, 1 In Custody After Shooting In NW OKC

A suspect is in custody after a fatal shooting Sunday in NW Oklahoma City, police say.

Police say the suspect is 21-year-old Ramari-Boone-Haye.

Oklahoma City Police said officers responded to a home near 11000 NW 96th Street around 3:25 a.m. for a shots fired call.

At the scene, officers found a person lying in the road who had been shot multiple times. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police there was a fight in the street that involved several people and at some point, someone involved grabbed a gun and shot the victim multiple times.

The suspect has been booked into jail on complaint a first-degree murder and pointing a firearm, according to police.

It's unclear what started the fight, police said.
