Tulsa Premium Outlet Mall In Jenks Holds Grand Opening Ceremony

Thursday is the big grand opening of the Tulsa Premium Outlet Mall in Jenks.

After five years of planning and development, the day has finally arrived. Later this morning, this new outlet will be filled with shoppers.

The 340,000 shopping area near Highway 75 and the Creek Turnpike features over 75 retailers like Columbia Factory Store, Old Navy, Adidas, Nike Factory, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Oklahoma's first Tory Burch.

The outlet mall is expected to bring 800 jobs to the area and is owned by Simon Property Group - the same company that owns Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa.

In addition to all the stores, there is a children’s play area, restaurants, several green spaces, a fire pit, and a fountain for customers to enjoy.

Leaders have a full day of activities planned for today’s grand opening, including a live DJ and other entertainment, as well as an opportunity for customers to participate in a $1,000 shopping spree and a surprise giveaway.

There was a grand opening ceremony with a ribbon-cutting Thursday morning at 9:30.
