The Porch Visits Midwest City School Receiving Free Reusable Water Bottles From Simple Modern

Every student at Soldier Creek Elementary in Midwest City is receiving a free reusable water bottle as part of a giveaway from Oklahoma-based company Simple Modern.

As part of Simple Modern's “Stock Your School” giveaway, the company filled a Soldier Creek teacher's classroom wish list, and gave each student a reusable water bottle.

The Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch spoke to Courtney Campbell, who has taught at Soldier Creek for 9 years, and who was also the one who entered and won the giveaway.

“I love the Simple Modern products, I've heard that they're generous to the community,” Campbell said. “They give 10% of everything to charity, so they're a really great company.”

Campbell said winning the giveaway means every student at their school will be able to have access to water wherever they go,

“It's amazing because a lot of the kids otherwise wouldn't have a water bottle,” Campbell said. “They are allowed to bring them to school, but some of them don't have one to bring, so it is really helpful and very appreciated.”

In addition to filling Campbell's wish list, Campbell said the company also gave her an extra $500 to go toward her classroom.
