It's Election Day for voters across the state, and here in Tulsa, people voted on who will become Tulsa’s next mayor.

There are several items on the ballot, with one of the biggest races being Tulsa mayor where there are seven candidates in the running.

The last mayoral election took place in 2020.

If no candidate gets a majority of the votes today, there will be a runoff election in November.

In addition to voting for mayor, voters will also choose city councilors for all nine districts in Tulsa and vote on City Charter amendments.

Some of the proposed amendments would raise the salary for the next mayor of Tulsa and city councilors.

Voters in the City of Sand Springs will decide whether an agreement with the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) should be renewed for 25 years.

It allows PSO to use public areas in Sand Springs to operate the electric grid and was approved by the Sand Springs City Council earlier this year.

Voters in the city of Collinsville will vote on the 2024 Collinsville Bond, which will cost a little over $95 million.

If approved, this bond would help Collinsville Public Schools build a new pre-K and 5th-grade center, improving student transportation and more.

Be sure to bring your voter registration card or an approved ID to vote and check the sample ballots on the OK Voter Portal. The polls will remain open until 7 p.m.
