Tulsa Police said the District Attorney will determine if the man who shot and killed a man Tuesday night near MLK and Apache will face charges.

Investigators said Marco Richardson and his 31-year-old son and three others charged the shooter, a homeowner, in the front yard and pinned him against a vehicle.

That's when investigators said the homeowner pulled a gun and started shooting.

Richardson died and his son was badly hurt.

Police said Richardson had an ongoing feud with the shooter.

TPD said the investigation is ongoing.

Tulsa Police are investigating after a man was killed and his son injured in a shooting Tuesday night near.

Police said that when officers showed up at East 27th Street, they found the victim, Marco Richardson, 47, lying in the yard with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was surrounded by several people. Richardson was taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where police said he died. 

According to TPD, the suspect and Richardson have been involved in an ongoing argument that, led to previous confrontations. On the night of the incident, Richardson, his son, and three others exited two vehicles at the suspect's house and rushed him.

While they had him pinned against a vehicle in the yard, the suspect pulled out his gun and started shooting, hitting Richardson

Investigators are also looking into a second gunshot victim who showed up at the hospital shortly after the first victim. Police said it is unclear if the two incidents are connected.

Police said at this time they are not looking for anyone else in connection with this case. According to TPD's Homicide Tracker, this is the city's 40th homicide of the year.
