Tulsa Man Arrested, Accused Of Leading Police On Car Chase

Authorities arrested a man on Thursday morning after leading Tulsa County Deputies and Tulsa Police on a chase.

The pursuit started around 3 a.m. when authorities tried to stop a man driving recklessly. Deputies said the suspect reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour and eventually stopped along I-244 near Garnett after running over stop sticks.

They said the suspect refused to come out, so they shot pepper balls into the car.

Police said the suspect was arrested for leading officers on a chase, driving under the influence, and having drugs.
