NW OKC Apartment Fire: Roof Collapse, Resident Evacuations

16 units were totally involved in a large apartment complex fire Friday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

Firefighters responded to the apartment complex, located along West Britton Road near North Council Road, at around 11:30 a.m.

Authorities say that firefighters rescued a male from a first-story window. They say he sustained a cut, and was treated at the scene. Crews say there were no other injuries.

Crews say that all 16 units were occupied, and eight units sustained heavy fire damage. The roof did collapse.
