Jordan Ryan joined the KWTV NEWS 9 team in January of 2021.
Before joining us here in Oklahoma City she was in Huntsville, Alabama at WHNT News 19. While in Huntsville, also known as the Rocket City because of NASA's presence in the community and the large aerospace industry, Jordan had the opportunity to work on the morning team and break some of the region's biggest stories including a dock fire that killed 8 people and made national headlines. Jordan also stepped in to fill the role of anchor and producer when needed.
Jordan graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. There she had the opportunity to work as a one-man band for PBS Arizona where she covered a variety of stories including wildfire protection initiatives and the late Senator John McCain's memorial service.
Outside of Journalism Jordan has a passion for helping young women discover their passions and purpose. She also has a passion for health, wellness, the outdoors, and dance.
Have a story idea? Jordan wants to hear from you! She enjoys communicating with our viewers. Follow her on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or email her.
