Oklahoma City leaders are considering increasing the hotel tax to bring more visitors into the city.

At a Oklahoma City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, members will talk about an increase from 5.5% to 9.25%.

If the measure passes later this month, the decision whether or not to increase the city hotel tax will be on the ballot in August.
