Suspect In Shooting Of Oklahoma County Deputy Testifies Against Co-Defendant

A suspect in the shooting of an Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy testified during a preliminary hearing that he saw his co-defendant pull the trigger.

OKLAHOMA CITY – A suspect in the shooting of an Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy testified during a preliminary hearing that he saw his co-defendant pull the trigger.

Major John Waldenville was shot outside Cattlemen's Steakhouse on May 21. He worked there as a security guard and was on his way to deposit the restaurant's money at a bank. He was shot in the face and critically injured, but he's now recovering.

Prosecutors say Keonta Prince and Christopher Baker robbed and shot Major Waldenville. They're charged with intent to kill and robbery with a firearm. During Wednesday's preliminary hearing, Prince testified he saw Baker shoot the major.
