The woman said the suspect, later identified by police as 39-year-old Shane Lynn Lunsford, came up to her as she was getting into her car, and violently pulled her purse off her shoulder.
The woman said she had quite a bit of money, her keys, and all of her personal information in the purse.
Police say Lunsford tried to use one of her credit cards at the Neighborhood Wal-Mart on 23rd and Penn. He was caught on a surveillance camera as he was leaving the store.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Lunsford Friday morning. He was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1700 S.W. 16th Street, on charges of robbery and possession of stolen credit card.
Investigators tell News 9 they're looking for one more suspect. We're told they were driving a 4-door white sedan.
