Authorities believe a fire at an abandoned Oklahoma City school was intentionally set Thursday morning.
According to the fire department, at about 6:38 a.m., crews responded to the report of smoke coming out of the second story windows at Page-Woodson School, located near N.E. 6th Street and N. Stonewall Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they found fires in three classrooms. Crews quickly put out the fires.
Authorities believe the fires had been intentionally set. They found broken windows on the backside of the school.
The school building is on the historical preservation list.
