SEMINOLE, Oklahoma -- The search continues for a man accused of killing his girlfriend in Seminole.
The Seminole County Sheriff's department say Adam Rollins is suspected of shooting and killing his girlfriend Shiloh Mitchell yesterday afternoon. Authorities thought they had found Rollins after they had information to believe he may have been hiding in a house in Paul Valley.
Around midnight Pauls Valley police department along with the U.S. Marshall's office went to a home located near the 300 block of Catherine. As police approached the home they saw a woman inside and had reason to believe she may have been Rollin's hostage.
However, after a nearly 11 hour standoff police along with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's tactical team determined Rollins was not inside the home. Police say the woman inside lived at the home.
The woman is being interviewed, but so far police say they have no information that connects the woman they thought may have been a hostage and Rollins.
Currently Rollins remains on the run. The Seminole County Sheriff's departments suspects Rollins maybe driving a 1995 dark green Mercury Sable. If you have any information you are being urged to call police.
