Stephanie Bice Campaigns Door-To-Door, Reacts To Neese's Tax Records News

Congressional District 5 candidate Stephanie Bice spent Friday morning knocking on doors, talking to voters in northwest Oklahoma City.

“We usually go out in the mornings in a group. Anywhere from four to 20 depending on the day and who is going to come out. Knock on the doors that we know are registered voters and ask for their support,” Bice said.

It’s a method Bice used for her state senate campaign. She had to pause the in-person stumping for a short time due to COVID, but has now resumed pressing the flesh.

One voter, Storm Rund, took the opportunity to ask the questions that mattered to him.

After discussing the Second Amendment, the economy, and student loans with the Republican candidate, Rund admitted to Bice he is a registered Democrat.

While he can’t vote for Bice in the runoff election, Rund said he appreciated the conversation, which left an impact.

“I’m not a straight ticket voter by any means and I can be swayed one way or the other. I think especially for you coming out here and talking to people in person, I think that’s one of the most important things,” Rund said to Bice.

Bice’s campaign also responded to a News 9 report on her runoff opponent Terry Neese’s tax records.

“These new reports are extremely troubling and the mounting ethical scandals engulfing Terry Neese could weigh down all Republicans in November. Oklahoma Republicans need a candidate who can defeat Kendra Horn in the fall and Stephanie Bice is the only proven conservative candidate who can,” a spokesperson for Bice said.
