MWC Police Identify Shooting Victim As 17-Year-Old Boy

A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Wednesday at a Midwest City apartment complex, police said.

The boy was a student at Star Spencer High School but his name has not been released of Thursday.

About 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to the Midwest Territory Apartments, 1505 N Midwest Blvd., in reference to shots being heard.

Officers found the 17-year-old on the ground with a gunshot wound. He died at OU Medical Center.

Witnesses told police a black male was seen leaving the complex in a four-door vehicle.
