Police Chase & Crash In NW OKC Connected To Bethany Armed Robbery, Police Say

Authorities said a pursuit suspect crashed Thursday in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle.

The suspect crashed at Northwest 10th Street and North Sterling Avenue.

The Bethany Police Department told News 9 the pursuit is connected to a reported armed robbery that occurred overnight.

Bethany police said four suspects broke into a hotel room around 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the Holiday Express Inn located at Northwest Expressway and Council and robbed a man at gun point.

The suspects took the man’s wallet, cell phone and also stole his rental car, police said.

Three suspects were later identified after the man’s stolen credit card was used at a 7-Eleven located at Wilshire and Council. Police said one person was arrested at the scene.

The stolen vehicle was later spotted on Interstate 44 at May. Oklahoma City police were called, which led to the pursuit.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was taken into custody after crashing at Northwest 10th and Council. Police said warrants have been issued for the outstanding suspects.

Authorities identified three of the suspects as Alexis Greer, Robert Hightower and Samantha Rooney.
