Monday afternoon, the Oklahoma County Jail Trust will have another chance to vote to prohibit ICE Agents from being inside the Oklahoma County Jail.

The original vote brought on a lawsuit by Oklahoma County Commissioner Kevin Calvey and the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association.

They're asking a judge to force the Trust to follow the new ICE policy approved by county commissioners this month.

Two weeks ago, county commissioners voted two to one to require the jail to cooperate with ICE officers.

Commissioner Calvey, who is also a member of the jail trust, says its an issue he wont be backing down from.

“I will never back down to bullies, anti-law enforcement, anti-American extremist like these protesters today,” Calvey told reporters after the vote Monday

Oklahoma County Jail Trust Chairwoman Tricia Everest has said to have further discussion on the issue, they will have to wait and see what Oklahoma County Court Determines.
