74-Year-Old Woman Dead After Apparent Accidental Shooting In Luther

Authorities said a woman is dead after what they called an apparent tragic accidental shooting Tuesday.

Luther police responded to a shooting call just before 6 p.m. at a home located near Northeast 178th Street and North Luther Road.

The 74-year-old victim was shot in the back, police said.

The exact cause of death has yet to be determined. This is an ongoing investigation.
