4 Ejected, 3 Killed In Norman Car Crash

Police are investigating a crash that killed three people overnight Monday in Norman.

According to the report, at about 12:15 a.m. authorities responded to a single-vehicle accident located at 180th Avenue NE and Tecumseh Road.

Investigators said the vehicle was driving northbound and departed the road for an unknown reason, hit an embankment and flipped.  

Officers said four people were inside of the vehicle and all four victims were ejected.

Three victims were found dead at the scene when officers arrived. The fourth victim was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

No names have been released at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
