A helicopter crashed and caught on fire Wednesday in northwest Oklahoma City.

A helicopter crashed and caught on fire Wednesday in northwest Oklahoma City.

The incident happened in the 1700 block of N Cimarron Road near Interstate 40 and NW 10th.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said the two pilots got out of the helicopter before it caught on fire.

The aircraft belonged to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. They said the pilots are OK.

The crash happened near Clarence E. Page Municipal Airport.
