Authorities said a suspect is in custody after a deadly shooting Wednesday in Harrah.
The Harrah Police Department along with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a shots fired call in the 2700 block N. Peebly Rd. just north of Northeast 23rd Street.
Police said a man was found dead at the scene.
According to Harrah Police Chief Gary Morgan, an argument led up to the shooting.
The suspect ran away from the scene and after a brief manhunt was caught by police.
Force was used to apprehend the suspect, according to police.
Morgan said one of the officer's involved in a tussle with the suspect was sent to a local hospital after what they believe was due to heat stroke.
The suspect was also taken to the hospital. He has not been identified at this time.
