The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said a mother and son have been arrested in connection to the murder of a Blanchard man earlier this month.
Debbie Senft, 47, and Zachary Mussett, 26, were taken into custody in Wyoming and are currently awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma.
Senft and Mussett -- who are both natives of Texarkana, Texas -- are facing murder charges connected to the death of 56-year-old Michael McGuffee of Blanchard.
McGuffee's wife sent a family member to do a welfare check at a Blanchard residence on Oct. 15. The family member discovered a fire at the residence and immediately notified Blanchard police.

Officers then arrived on scene and discovered McGuffee's body in the residence. Blanchard police then requested OSBI's help in the investigation.
Earlier this week, authorities discovered several items belonging to McGuffee were pawned within Kansas state lines. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation then recovered the items on OSBI's behalf.
With the help of Wyoming's Division of Criminal Investigation, Senft and Mussett were located on an interstate in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The state's highway patrol were able to pull Senft and Mussett over on the highway and took them into custody.
OSBI said Senft, who is McGuffee's half-sister, and Mussett are facing one count of first-degree murder and another count of first-degree arson.
