Oklahoma’s Frontier Drugstore Museum and Apothecary Garden has been the target of vandalism.
The first instance was on October 9 and the most recent was on October 22.
Holiday traditions are on hold and workers at this museum are cleaning up the mess left behind from vandals once again.
Amy Hurley, a worker at the museum, was planning to decorate for the holiday season but the vandalism has her questioning why she would.
“There’s really not any point,” said Hurley. “Anything they put there we just will have to count on it being damaged or destroyed or stolen.”
Hurley said the store employees have been spending time and money cleaning up the vandalism themselves, but feel hopeless that this keeps happening.
The museum has filed police reports following each incident and police are investigating.
They've even narrowed the incidents to times when the high school is playing home football games.
Guthrie police Sgt. Anthony Gibbs said the department is working overtime to watch the area.
The police department said they will add cameras if needed.
