56th Annual Tournament of Champions Begins At BOK Center In Tulsa

One of Oklahoma's most prestigious high school basketball tournaments returns this week to pit Tulsa’s students head-to-head.

The 56th Annual Tournament of Champions started Monday morning at the BOK. 16 teams are taking part this year with eight girl teams and eight boy teams. Mick Wilson with Tulsa Schools says it's an honor to have the event in Tulsa.

We just want a great experience for the student-athletes. We want these kids to come and make memories and be able to leave here with a great feeling of knowing that they've been treated first class and been in a first-class city and first-class environment and that we want them leaving with a good feeling," said Wilson.

The championship game is Wednesday at 7 p.m.
