Home Explosion Kills 2 In Clinton, Officials Investigating

The Oklahoma State Fire Marshals, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms and the Oklahoma LP Gas Administration is investigating after a home explosion in Clinton Tuesday morning.

According to the Custer County Sheriff's Office, just before 7 a.m. deputies along with Clinton Fire, OHP and Clinton PD were called to a home completely engulfed in flames.

A man was found dead outside the home. A woman was found nearby and transported to a local hospital where she died of her injuries.

The names of the deceased are being withheld at this time.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
