Scene Cleared After Potential Threat At SE OKC Scrapyard

UPDATE 2:03 p.m.: Oklahoma City Police said the scene has cleared after bomb techs were called to check a potential threat Tuesday afternoon at a southeast Oklahoma City scrapyard.

Authorities are responding to the scene of a potential threat at a scrapyard in southeast Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Police said bomb techs have been called to a scrapyard near Southeast 59th Street and South High Avenue.

Police said a man brought a car in to be crushed, and workers noticed what appeared to be an explosive device in the vehicle.
