Two people were arrested after a house fire resulted in a homicide investigation earlier this month, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Two people were arrested after a house fire resulted in a homicide investigation earlier this month in McCurtain County, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

The McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a house fire on March 2 in the 2800 block of Womack Road.

When the fire was put out, Danette Stowe, 43, was found dead on the scene.

The victim’s husband was transported to the hospital to get treated for injuries.

Allen Shaw and Randy Sander were arrested on March 2 and booked into the McCurtain County Jail

They are being charged with second-degree murder and arson in the second degree, according to the OSBI.

The suspects’ bonds were set at $500,000.
