Second Suspect Arrested Following October NW OKC Bar Assault

Another person has been arrested following an assault that took place in October outside a bar near Portland Avenue and West Memorial Road.

29-year-old Keironte Compton had already been arrested and charged following the incident, and now Oklahoma City Police have arrested Compton's younger brother, 26-year-old Corey Cooper.

OCPD said Greg Simon, the victim in the assault, was found face-down in the parking lot outside the bar, and was transported to the hospital shortly afterwards.

Authorities said Cooper was arrested with complaints of assault with intent to kill, maiming and second-degree robbery.

A third suspect was cleared of wrong-doing.
