Oklahoma City Police said they received an assault with a deadly weapon call at around 12:01 a.m. that happened near West Wilshire Boulevard and North Council Road.
Police made contact with the victim, Stephen Castillo, and the victim’s ex-girlfriend, Alejandra Torres, at the hospital where they spoke with officers about the incident.
Torres told police she had just recently broken up with Castillo and had been in a relationship with a new boyfriend, the suspect in relation to this incident.
Torres said she was over at the suspect’s house when Castillo showed up unannounced, prompting Torres to call the police to have him removed from the house.
Police said they responded to the scene and couldn’t find Castillo.
Torres then told police that Castillo had seen her leave the suspect’s house before blocking her from leaving the neighborhood.
The suspect saw Castillo blocking Torres from leaving and parked behind her, according to Torres.
