Suspect Accused Of Imprisoning, Assaulting Teen In Oklahoma City

A man has been arrested and is accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old in Oklahoma City.

Documents filed in Oklahoma County District Court said on May 19, officers responded to a check welfare call at a convenience store near Southwest 44th Street and South Walker Avenue.

The clerk at the store said a 17-year-old girl told them that she was being held against her will after she ran away from home.

The teenage victim told officers that she ran away from home and went to her friend’s house in Oklahoma City.

On May 18, she left her friend’s house to try and contact police at a nearby car wash to take her home when a man, Jacob Kelley, approached her saying that he was going to kill her if she didn’t come with him, the documents said.

The victim went with Kelley to a home, which was said to have appeared to be vacant, near Southwest 48th Street and South Shartel Avenue where Kelley took her to a shed in the backyard.

Documents said Kelley bounded her hands to the front of her body with a yellow bandana before he sexually assaulted her.

Kelley untied her hands and told her that he was going to get methamphetamine at a convenience store nearby and was going to force her to use the drugs.

Once they arrived at the store, Kelley grabbed some food and a drink and placed it on the counter before walking away.

The victim then told the clerk that she needed help, and the clerk hid the victim in the back area.

When Kelley returned, the clerk told him that the victim was in the bathroom.

Kelley then walked out of the store before police tracked him walking down a street nearby.

Kelley attempted to run from officers, but he was eventually caught and arrested.

While he was being taken back to the store, Kelley told police that he didn’t know why the clerk had called the police on him and that he was with a 17-year-old girl.

Court documents said Kelley told the following statements to the victim throughout their interactions:

“If you tell anyone, including the cops, I’ll kill you,” “I know people out here on the street,” I’m a gang member.”

Kelley is now facing one count of kidnapping and one count of oral sodomy.
