Freshmen Players' Connection Drives Sooners This Season

The University of Oklahoma had a stellar debut Saturday, shutting out Arkansas State.

Perhaps even more valuable than a 73-point slaughter to open the season, was the opportunity to face off against a lot of different players.

You can't manufacture game experience or simulate game speed, so that experience Saturday should pay dividends the rest of the year.
