Firefighters Respond To SE Oklahoma City House Fire

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was able to put out a Friday morning house fire in the southeastern part of the city.

Firefighters said they responded to the scene at around 2 a.m. near Southeast 59th Street and South Sunnylane Avenue.

According to firefighters, the resident of the home did not have a smoke detector in the house and happened to wake up and see the fire.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
