New Bus Only Lanes Being Added In Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City’s new bus system is hitting the streets next month. This is adding lanes specifically for Rapid buses.

There will be a bus only lane at Northwest Expressway and Penn Avenue, it is a turn lane.



Bus only lanes are marked saying “Bus Only,” and their lanes are marked with a solid white line.

Buses will also have separate lines to rejoin traffic on Northwest Expressway.

Rapid NW services will launch December 3rd.
