Bethany, Oklahoma City Police Involved In Suspect Search Near Lake Hefner

Multiple Oklahoma City metro police agencies were involved in a pursuit Tuesday morning near Lake Hefner.

Investigators said the pursuit began when Bethany Police attempted to pull over a person driving a four-wheeler heading eastbound on Northwest 122nd Street.

The driver of the four-wheeler then stopped near Lake Hefner Parkway, police said, and abandoned the vehicle.

Oklahoma City Police later arrived on scene with a K-9 unit to assist in searching for the driver, but so far there have been no arrests.

Authorities later removed the four-wheeler from the area shortly after 3 a.m.
