Man Arrested After Chase Ends In Downtown Oklahoma City

One person was taken into custody on Sunday in downtown Oklahoma City after a pursuit ended in a crash, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said officers attempted to pull over 34-year-old Keith Billings for a traffic violation near Northeast 23rd Street and North Lincoln Boulevard when Billings fled, traveling west on Northeast 23rd Street.

Officers said they attempted to initiate a tactical maneuver to bring the chase to an end, but Billings was able to continue on, turning and traveling southbound on North Broadway Avenue.

According to OCPD, Billings tried to turn again at North Broadway Avenue and Northeast 13th Street when he struck a curb, which disabled his vehicle.

Billings was then taken into custody, police said.
