Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Todd Hiett has 10 days to respond to a petition asking the state supreme court to disqualify him from judicial cases at the commission.

Three Republican House members filed an emergency petition asking the court to prevent Hiett from weighing in on cases involving specific energy companies.

The petition says employees and representatives from those companies are either witnesses or victims of the misconduct Hiett was accused of committing at a conference over the summer.
