Chef, author, and influencer Emily Susman added a fun twist to Halloween treats this year with some easy, last-minute recipes.

To create spooky treats in a hurry, Susman suggests turning everyday items into Halloween-themed snacks.

One simple treat involves transforming Oreos into mummy cookies by drizzling white icing across the top and adding candy eyes for a festive look.

Another quick idea is making witches’ brooms by inserting a pretzel stick into mini Reese’s cups.

For a crowd favorite, Susman recommends dirt pudding cups made from store-bought pudding, topped with crushed Oreos, and decorated with gummy worms or candy eyeballs.
