There are new developments in the appeal by former Oklahoma City Police officer Daniel Holtzclaw, who was convicted of sexually assaulting women while on duty.

A motion to unseal documents and to set a briefing schedule in the Daniel Holtzclaw appeals case has been granted, according to court documents. 

Oklahoma City recovered thousands of emails it initially claimed were deleted from the account of a former forensic lab employee. 

A crowd of Daniel Holtzclaw’s family and supporters gathered in his hometown of Enid today in light of documents released in a series of closed hearings related to his appeal.

Jenny Holtzclaw is the older sister of Daniel Holtzclaw, the former Oklahoma City police officer sentenced to life in prison for sexually abusing women on the job.
