A UCO football player is recovering after losing his foot this weekend. Officials say a train took off defensive back Derek Loccident's left foot early Sunday morning. 

More than 400 substitute teachers were requested throughout Moore Public School on Thursday. Moore students and staff were called back to class, but one group still chose to march to the Capitol.

At a meeting reportedly arranged by TEAM, the teacher’s union for Moore, Superintendent Dr. Robert Romines took the stage to answer questions and talk about the decision to resume school beginning Thursday. 

When it comes down to it, there is one thing that drove teachers to agree to walk out of their classrooms, superintendents to agree to shut down their schools, and lawmakers to agree to raise taxes: the underfunding of public education in Oklahoma. 

In light of recent school shootings, a Moore mom is asking for additional security measures in the district. 

One suspect is in custody, accused of making a threat against Moore High School on social media.
